Earlier today we unveiled a trio of new PS Vita titles coming out of our JAPAN Studio over in Tokyo: Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, Soul Sacrifice Delta and Freedom Wars. For those unfamiliar with the studio and its heritage, it’s one of Sony Worldwide Studios most interesting assets, responsible for a diverse library of hugely charismatic titles, including Puppeteer, rain, Tokyo Jungle, Gravity Rush and Shadow of the Colossus.

Its no mystery that the PS Vita could use a bit more JRPG love in the west. There are quite a few titles released or slated for release in Japan that havent yet been announced for North America and Europe, even between Sonys own portfolio. Luckily Sony Computer Entertainmente Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida hopes to bring some of them to this side of the Pacific Ocean.

Two weeks ago Sony Computer Entertainment Producer Kentaro Motomura told Weekly Famitsu that hed like to explore the possibility to bring the Wild Arms franchise to PS4 and PS Vita. Yesterday night, with very convenient timing, Motomura-san appeared in a live broadcast on Nico Nico announcing a crossover event between Soul Sacrifice Delta and Wild Arms.
